i'm on the search for my new perfect black bag that will live with me for many many years to come.  i  like the boyy  yeeshi in concept and structure.  it's beautifully simple bot not boring.

watch out!  this summer i'm breaking free (ever so slightly) from my black, gray, red and white norm.  i went all crazy and bought a lace edged balenciaga tank top AND a simple cotton monrow tank top both in the spaz inducing neon yellow that i have been ever so attracted to lately.

then when i saw this image from ellery this week, i about broke.  i love red with nude, but haven't ever worn neon with nude.  i'm thinking that i'm maybe not into the nude granny panty look, but that leather tank i could definitely get down with.  oh, and can we talk about those shoes?  ... an ann d-like lace up in neon yellow?  dayyyuuum!

i guess i've always been into coats and shoes as style statements.  which is a shame since i live in los angeles and actually get to think about outerwear about 1 week out of the year.  but if you have an amazing coat and amazing shoes on, who cares what you have going on underneath, right?   if i had these pieces in my closet, i think i could better justify my ratty tshirt and jeans wardrobe...
